Peak Radar is the Cultural Office’s flagship program to connect residents and visitors with the vibrant arts community of the Pikes Peak region. The program includes managing and growing PeakRadar.com (our region’s premier online cultural calendar), publishing weekly e-blasts of upcoming events to over 16,000 recipients, engaging users across five social media platforms, producing cultural guides in print, promoting local arts & culture to radio stations and media partners, and connecting personally through summer arts outreach booths. It employs proven strategies across digital, print and in person platforms to improve marketing for cultural activities and reduce barriers to access for all citizens and tourists. For the public, Peak Radar is a digital cultural center. For the local creative community, it is an entire marketing department offered free of charge.

Diverse partnerships with community organizations like the Colorado Springs Sports Corp, the Pikes Peak Library District, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, the Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance, School District 11, School District 2, and others, help to drive new audiences to the website, and to provide exciting opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion. Please contact Angela Seals to request pricing and additional information about the possibilities of plugging our customizable event feeds into your website.
Finally, Peak Radar’s audience development program also includes a weekly Peak Radar Picks e-blasts, which highlights eight to ten upcoming community events each week on Wednesday. Please click hereif you’d like to start receiving the Peak Radar Picks email every week. We also have a great Guest Curator program that enables a different community member to help make selections for our weekly e-blast. Anyone is welcome to be a Guest Curator, and you are more than welcome to promote your own events.
