CRAFT EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (CERF+)

CERF+ was started by artists for artists in the craft community as a grassroots mutual aid effort in 1985 and has since emerged as the leading nonprofit organization that uniquely focuses on safeguarding craft artists’ livelihoods nationwide. CERF+ serves artists who work in craft disciplines by providing resources to support strong and sustainable careers.

CERF+’s programs include emergency relief funding, preparedness resources, and grants for projects that help safeguard studios, protect careers, and prepare for emergencies.

If you are a craft-focused artist who has experienced a sudden, unexpected emergency such as an illness, theft, accident, fire or climate related disaster, CERF+ may be able to help.
