Art’s Economic Impact Presented to the Rotary

Last Friday, Christina McGrath presented to the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs about arts and culture in the Pikes Peak region. The 80 attendees were particularly impressed by the arts nonprofit sector as an economic engine, generating $72 million in economic impact and 2,000 full time equivalent jobs. Her presentation emphasized that to sustain and grow this key sector for our region, the community must embrace initiatives likeย Peak Arts Fundย to step up giving and engagement.

Our thanks to the Rotary for their inspiring leadership in the community and their support of the arts!
