Peak Arts Prize Peak Arts Prize is a local arts funding program of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, powered by The Fund for the Arts, a fund of the Pikes Peak Community Foundation. Brief video + entry form applications are invited annually in three categories:
LARGE ARTS ORGANIZATIONS*
Prize: $10,000 Grant
SMALL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS
Prize: $7,500 Grant
Prize: $4,000 Grant
Eligible applicants can apply on PeakArtsPrize.org during a 1-month long application window that runs from mid-January to mid-February. Dates for 2021 will be announced in November 2020.
A panel of expert judges will select the Prize grantees and 2 honorable mentions in each category. These nine will advance to a special People’s Choice round, where the community can vote to award a special $1,000 “People’s Choice” prize and donate directly to the projects from the ballot. Regardless of the ultimate results, all participants in this round will benefit from the positive visibility and fundraising opportunity for their projects. The results of the Peak Arts Prize judging panel’s granting decisions and People’s Choice Award are shared the day after the vote closes.
Winners of category grants will receive special PR support and visibility for their projects from program partners.
