In July 2020, the Cultural Office launched “Curbside Culture,” a new program that delivered the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances – in appropriately social-distanced circumstances – outside of private residences, businesses, and gathering spots. Relaunched in the summer of 2021, Curbside Culture offers community members an intimate and enjoyable experience, and a meaningful way to help support local artists as they work to rebuild their performance schedules, now that the restrictions of the pandemic are easing. It’s perfect for birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and other special events with friends.
Check out the growing Curbside Culture Roster of dynamic, professional artists – from musicians to dancers to aerialists – and book a personal performance at a “curb” near you!
Are you interested in joining the Curbside Culture roster, or do you know someone who would interested? Accomplished performers living in El Paso and Teller counties are invited to apply to join the program! Download an application.
Please help us support local performing artists through Curbside Culture by inviting your friends and audiences to book an experience. We make it easy to share with this digital toolkit!
