Letter from the Executive Director …Andy

Hi, my name is Andy Vick, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Executive Director here at COPPeR! My wife, Beth Piver, and I just moved to Colorado Springs from western Maryland, where I spent the last 10+ years working as the Executive Director of the Allegany Arts Council. Although we’re new to the area, Beth actually lived here in the Springs for about four years when she was younger while her father was with the Air Force working at NORAD. In the short time that we’ve been here, I can already tell that we’re going to love living in the Pikes Peak region- the mountain views are magnificent, the arts community is rich and vibrant, and the people we’ve met have all been friendly and welcoming. In the coming weeks and months, I plan to visit as many local art venues and attractions as possible so that I can learn more about our cultural resources, meet the area’s many artists and art lovers, and find out how COPPeR can help to grow our creative community. If I don’t get a chance to meet you personally, please feel free to stop by our office in downtown Colorado Springs or email me directly atย andy at coppercolo.org.
