The Jeremy Facknitz Band with Hakken Krax Howl

Jeremy Facknitz has been delighting audiences with his brand of high-energy theatrical folk-rock-jazz for nearly 30 years. He's a 3-time finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition at Kerrville Folk Festival (Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle and Nanci Griffith are TWO time finalists), and he's been able to make performing his "day-job" for the last 10 years by taking his show on the road in the U.S. and Canada. Heavily influenced by Billy Joel, James Taylor, Elvis Costello and Ben Folds, his music is a "throwback" to when singer-songwriters weren't afraid to turn it up loud, look you in the eye and play more than the same tired four chords. He embodies the soul of an old-time troubadour, bitten by a radioactive rockstar. Claudia Alexandra Madriz Meza (born June 24, 1987), known professionally as Snow tha Product, is an American rapper and singer. Her debut studio album, Unorthodox (2011) was met with positive critical reception and led her to sign with Atlantic Records the following year. Her commercial mixtape, Half Way There... Pt. 1 (2016) entered the Top Rap Albums chart at number 15. Her other releases failed to chart, leading her to part ways with the label in November 2018. Madriz Meza also received critical praise for her mixtape Good Nights & Bad Mornings 2: The Hangover (2018) and her compilation album VIBEHIGHER (2018). She has also appeared in several episodes of the 2016 USA Network series, Queen of the South. For Iam Tongi, music is about transformation – and it always has been. Tongi learned to sing from his father, who in turned had learned from his father before him. By 13 Tongi had played his first show, but after moving to Seattle a few years later – and losing his father in 2021 – he nearly gave music up completely. His mother secretly signed him up for American Idol, and after Tongi’s viral audition performance of James Blunt’s “Monsters” became one of American Idol’s all time emotional highlights, he went on to win Season 21, making history as the first Pacific Islander to ever win the show. 'Woman of the Colorado Gold Rush Era'

Author J. Bell presents the lives of ten unforgettable women who called Colorado home during the turbulent years of the Pikes Peak Gold Rush from her new book Women of the Colorado Gold Rush Era. The collection of biographies reveals the heroism of Native American, Hispanic, Anglo, and African American women whose perseverance, hard work, and wisdom helped lay the foundation for the state of Colorado. In her presentation the author discusses the reasons for writing the work, the methods of research, an overview of Colorado women's lives, and the highlights a few of the biographies. Presenter: J.v.L Bell has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University and an M.A. from Colorado School of Mines. She loves writing and researching Colorado history. In 2015 she left engineering and sold her first Colorado historical mystery, The Lucky Hat Mine, to the Hansen Publishing Group. Women of the Colorado Gold Rush Era is her fifth publication. In 2022 she purchased Filter Press, a Colorado publishing house that has been publishing books about Colorado's fascinating history since 1956.
