The Cultural Office is pleased to share that retired arts teacher Chip MacEnulty is joining the staff as part-time Office Coordinator.
“After a search this spring that included 35 impressive creative applicants, we are excited to welcome Chip to the team,” says Angela Seals, Executive Director. “Chip brings to our front desk an award-winning career, positive energy, and a dedication to advancing the arts in our community.”
Having just retired after twenty-four years as the Drama & Film Teacher at Mesa Ridge High School in Widefield School District Three, Chip is excited to engage with the broader arts community in his new role. He recently earned his Ph.D. in Diplomacy and International Affairs with his dissertation entitled: โPrivacy in Diplomatic Negotiations: Lessons from the 1787 Constitutional Convention, the 1993 Oslo Accords, and the 1998 Good Friday Accords.โ Like many of his colleagues, he is a Colorado Springs native having graduated from the same high school as his father, uncle, and all three of his children. Among his many talents and hobbies, he writes plays and novels in his spare time, is working on his first history book, and can be found enjoying the great Colorado sun on the tennis court.
