Curbside Culture Returns

Curbside Culture Returns

The Cultural Office is excited to announce that we’re bringing back Curbside Culture with the warmer weather! Launched last year during the pandemic, Curbside Culture brings the performing arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale, socially-distanced live performances that follow local health guidelines. In 2020, the program facilitated more than 60 bookings! Now, it’s back by popular demand.

Nearly 20 diverse performers are already on the Artist Roster for hire, and the program is open to experienced performing artists who want to participate.

Violinist George Gershteyn performs outside of a ballot dropoff location during Election Day 2020.

“Supporting local performers is at the heart of this program,” says Andy Vick, Executive Director of the Cultural Office. “Curbside Culture supports these artists with critical opportunities to perform and earn income during a time when many venues are still under restrictions … It transcends the traditional artistic experience and takes the show on the road, literally, for anyone craving the arts!”

Please help to spread the word to support our local performing artists … and book your own Curbside Culture experience today!
