It’s now easier than ever to advocate for Colorado’s creative future. By getting involved, we all can ensure that arts, culture and the creative industries are valued and supported by our state policymakers and voters.
The Cultural Office is Informed & Involved
As the local arts agency for El Paso & Teller counties of Colorado, the Cultural Office follows the evolving policy changes in Washington D.C. and their effects on the creative sector. With the fast-changing Executive Orders of 2025, our Executive Director, Angela Seals, is regularly participating in calls and updates with leaders from Americans for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, Colorado Creative Industries, Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, and more to understand policies, response, and guidance.
COPPR is a nonpartisan organization committed to supporting our region’s creative workers, businesses, and nonprofits to thrive across time and changing policies.
How You Can Be Informed & Involved!
These resources will help equip you to advocate for arts and culture right here in our community, and at a state and national level. Sharing information – even with just a neighbor, friend or relative – helps to ensure a strong creative community for years to come!
