COPPR) is the nonprofit local arts agency that serves the City of Colorado Springs and the greater Pikes Peak region (El Paso and Teller Counties) in Colorado. We work to ensure that the creative sector grows in economic vitality and depth of impact, that creative workers can thrive in our community, and that the arts are leveraged to positively address regional economic development, education, cultural tourism, and quality of life.

Sports writer-turned-stand-up comedian. Keynote speaker. Author. Commercial actor. Master of Ceremonies. His humor and smooth stage presence has led to many requests to serve as Master of Ceremonies for high profile events. Sam’s popularity catapulted when the True Color clip from his Dry Bar Comedy special went viral — with more than 10 million social media views in less than 72 hours. Since, the clip has reached more than 35 million views on Facebook alone. Before stand-up, Sam spent three decades as a sports writer and television commentator based in Denver, CO.
