Pikes Peak Weavers Guild Exhibition

Currently on display in COPPeR’s office space are works by the Pikes Peak Weavers Guild. A non-profit organization in Colorado Springs, the Guild exists to promote weaving, spinning and dying in the region. The organization has 70-80 members who meet regularly to exchange ideas and techniques. In addition to their monthly meetings, the member artists conduct outreach events in the community to educate the public about their craft. The Guild sponsors an annual workshop to bring in well known artists and educators in the field.
Fourteen artists are featured in the COPPeR exhibition, which will be on display through March. Join us during February’s First Friday Art Walk on February 7 from 5-8pm to witness the incredible color and texture and to meet the artists. You can learn more about the Guild on their website.
