Join us at our office on February 27th from 4:00PM-6:30PM for a reception celebrating our current artist on exhibit: Steve Weed!
Our winter local art exhibit at the Cultural Office features recent paintings byย Steve Weed, many of which capture the Western spirit. Steve has honed a brilliant method of capturing a subjectโs essence by combining subtle and bold brush strokes with an expressive color palette. A master in oils, watercolor, and charcoal, Steveโs work receives praise from collectors and fans worldwide.
The exhibit is also on view during open hours of the Cultural Office at 121 S. Tejon St. (Plaza of the Rockies) in Downtown Colorado Springs from Feb. 5 – Mar. 29.ย Please call ahead to ensure access at (719) 634-2204.
Send Us Your Arts Photos!
Part of our mission as the Cultural Office is to promote and share the vitality and strength of our arts community. A key way we do so is through various marketing campaigns like the Arts Month campaign or Peak Radar.ย We need your help to make sure our collateral represents the breadth and depth of the Pikes Peak regionโs arts and culture scene.ย If you are a Pikes Peak region artist or arts organization, would you be willing to share some photos of your pieces, performances, and events with us? Thereโs a chance they will be featured across Cultural Office communications, and we will credit both you and your organizations whenever they are used!
If this interests you, please send your photos toย info@culturaloffice.org.ย In the body of the email, please tell us who is in the photo (organizations and people) and the photographer’s name.
