Arts Month celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! Here at the Cultural Office, we are full steam ahead preparing a brand new campaign. Above is a teaser of the new theme: “Open Your World With the Arts.” This reimagining of Arts Month depicts the diversity and boldness of the arts community of the Pikes Peak region, offering new ways to engage around every corner. You’ll see the vivid collages exploding across billboards, bus stops, advertisements and even a Mountain Metro bus this October! Our thanks to the campaign’s designers, Neon Pig Creative, especially Laura Schnarr.

ArtsOctober.com: The main website for Arts Month is ArtsOctober.com. Every arts & cultural event listed on PeakRadar.com between October 1-31 automatically pulls onto ArtsOctober.com, and they are already live and updating daily. The new creative of the 10th anniversary campaign will appear across ArtsOctober.com on September 15.

Call for Events: Now is the best time to list your event on Peak Radar to be featured on ArtsOctober.com. It happens automatically, just create a listing! Instructions for listing events can be found here.

Theme Weeks: Theme Weeks are one of the structures we give to Arts Month each year to ensure that the celebratory spotlight hits many corners of local arts & culture! While arts events happen throughout the month, Theme Weeks are an optional way for arts groups to tie their events to Arts Month or organize communications. Each has its own presence on ArtsOctober.com.

Toolkit: The official toolkit with digital and print graphics to share about Arts Month will be available at ArtsOctober.com on September 15th. In the meantime, we have a temporary toolkit for early promotional uses here, which will continue to grow with more tools in the days ahead.

10/10: In celebration of Arts Month’s 10th anniversary, the Cultural Office is staging a community-wide “media moment” called 10/10, with a series of 10 creative pop-ups in 10 locations on 10/10 starting at 10 a.m. We will release the full location list soon, though the acts will remain a surprise until 10/10!
