Colorado artists based in El Paso or Teller Counties are eligible to apply to participate in the Military Arts Connection program by training to become Artist Facilitators. All creative media are welcome, and Artist Facilitators will set their own fees and arrange all program logistics and activities around their own schedules. No previous teaching experience is required, but a strong desire to serve and support our local military community is a must!
Interested artists will be required to complete a 1/2 day training session (currently conducted virtually), presented by the UCCS Veterans Health & Trauma Clinic. Registration is now open for the next virtual training on Friday, October 29th from 8:30AM-1PM.
